Problem: The apache service does not start automatically and when i start it manually using services it says something like "Could not start the service...The service did not return an error. This could be an internal windows error or an internal service error." When i run "adapcctl.cmd start" from command line, i get following error. " The service did not report an error.  More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 3534.  adapcctl.cmd exiting with status 2" The concurrent manager and listener is working fine and i am also able to connect to the database. Solution: Try the following; Under E:/path/iAS/Apache/Apache/logs Search for file called httpd.pid and rename it to httpd.pid.old and then restart the apache again. Apache will create a new  httpd.pid file.
